Giddy Yo – Decaf Medium Roast Coffee Beans
Giddy Yo now offers DECAF BEANS! Same jitter-free smooth low acid experience you’ve come to love, just without all the caffeine. Try mixing our regular beans with decaf beans for a reduced caffeine cuppa joe (cuppa JOY :), or enjoy straight up decaf. Mountain Water Process (MWP) is a method of indirect decaffeination using pure water to decaffeinate the beans. The process begins with lab analysis of the chemical composition of the bean to determine optimal conditions. Beans are then steamed and prepared for extraction. The extraction process uses a water-based saturated solution that removes the caffeine while keeping the coffee’s flavour compounds in place.
Giddy Yo coffee is so good; organic, ethically grown, washed process, air-roasted Arabica beans that must pass our ‘clean’ test. Each lot is lab tested to be free of the common coffee mycotoxins, harmful bacteria, mold and fungi (sounds gross but these are common in both coffee and chocolate).

How to brew a perfect cup of Giddy-Yo Clean Coffee: Start with hot spring water (91-96 C is the ideal temp.). Use 2 tablespoons ground coffee per 6 oz. spring water. Grind beans just before brewing. Enjoy black or try something different by frothing your coffee in the blender with earthy spices, Giddy-Yo Maca, Giddy-Yo Vanilla, MCT oil, coconut oil, and sweetener. Adjust coffee, water, sweet & misc. additions as desired to find your perfect brew.
Store beans in the original vented container away from moisture, direct light and heat. Do not freeze or refrigerate.
