    Answered by the admin There is a taste difference between the Golden and the Classic Lakanto. The Golden Lakanto has a slight golden taste to it and a harder, dry texture (similar to a Raw Sugar). Classic Lakanto is comparable to white cane sugar. The differences and colour and taste are present due to different harvesting time of the monkfruit. The late season harvest produces the darker colour and golden taste (Golden Lakanto).
